Don’t let hearing loss stop you enjoying life
Your hearing can seriously affect your quality of life. So, don’t let it hold you back. Better hearing means you can enjoy special moments with family and friends, watching TV and listening to music, getting back to nature – or even just going to work – without feeling isolated or struggling to follow what’s going on.
With the latest hearing aid technology from Key to Hearing, you’ll take your first steps towards improved hearing, better ear health and a happier, more fulfilled lifestyle.
State of the art hearing aids
Today’s hearing devices come in a huge array of types, designs, colours and sizes – and there’s a model to suit everyone. Key to Hearing offers a wide range of hearing aids from leading manufacturers, many of which feature the very latest technology.
Keeley will talk you through suitable options once your hearing has been assessed. Factors we’ll consider include your level of hearing loss, the size and shape of your ear canal, and potentially your dexterity. We’ll also take into account your lifestyle, design preferences and budget.
Behind the ear models
These include traditional Behind the Ear (BTE) models and devices featuring Canal Receiver Technology (CRT). They can accommodate larger batteries, making the hearing aids more powerful and therefore suited to people with more severe hearing loss.
Discreet and ‘in the ear’ hearing aids
Available styles range from those that sit in the outer ear and are therefore visible (Full Shell / In the Ear or ITE) to Invisible in the Canal (IIC) devices that can’t be seen by the naked eye – and everything in between. The right model will depend on the level of your hearing loss as well as your ability to handle the devices.
Rechargeable hearing aids
Perfect for those with busy lives, modern rechargeable hearing aids only need charging once a day. With a 4 to 5 year internal battery life, these devices are also an eco-friendly alternative to disposable batteries. They come in a wide range of types and sizes, with both behind the ear and customised models available from Key to Hearing.
CROS hearing devices for single sided hearing
If you have single sided deafness (SSD), a CROS hearing aid will help by redirecting sounds to a receiver in your better hearing ear. BiCROS devices are also available for those with complete deafness in one ear and little or no hearing in the other. For many people, they’re a great alternative to surgical solutions such as cochlear implants.
Hearing aid batteries and accessories
Our hearing aid batteries are sourced from the world-leading manufacturer, Rayovac. We also offer a range of hearing care accessories to help you get the most from your devices. These include wireless accessories such as remote controls and microphones; TV and phone devices; and smart phone applications.
Our home visit hearing care service
We’ll visit you at home to carry out a hearing evaluation. The results will help us decide if you can benefit from hearing aid technology. If so, we’ll look at suitable options taking into account a range of factors including your hearing needs, lifestyle and cosmetic preferences. There’s no obligation to proceed with our services.
If you’d like to go ahead, Keeley will return with your new hearing aids and use her expertise to fit and program them, so you get the maximum benefit. You’ll be shown how to use your devices as well as any accessories you’ve chosen. After that, you have the reassurance of a 60 day ‘money-back satisfaction’ period, so you can return your devices if you’re not completely happy (T&Cs apply).
Aftercare and hearing aid servicing
You won’t be left to cope with your new hearing aids alone. We’ll arrange follow-up appointments to monitor your progress, make any necessary adjustments to your devices and check they’re working correctly. You’ll also receive a two-year home visit hearing care package for ongoing aftercare. This includes checking your ear health and hearing, reprogramming your devices as necessary, and carrying out servicing and maintenance.
